May is fine. I’d much rather you took your time, and we get this right, than anything else.

In the 8+ months since I posted my first Open Letter to the author(s) of AB-1404, at the end of July 2015, I have been diagnosed with two stress-related cancers. I finished treatment for the first one in January 2016, and it is now in remission. The other poses a more daunting challenge for me and my family.

Now, more than ever, as I face a gruelling 6 months of treatment for a life-threatening Stage 3 cancer, I look forward to reclaiming the home where I thrived for over 30 years, before predatory neighbors in the adjoining subdivision turned my world upside-down in 2011.

Until 2011, my secured and private back garden was my retreat from the world — a safe space where I could go to heal body & soul. Now, it has become one of the major sources of stress in my life.

Yes, I’m eager for that to change, but having waited this long for a just & fair legal resolution, I can certainly wait another month.

Until then,
Deborah
